Oceanside Police Officer Tony Zeppetella was killed in the line of duty on June 13, 2003.

Officer Zeppetella is survived by his wife, Jamie, son Jakob, parents Tony and Renate, brother George and sister Renate. A memorial fund has been established by the OPOA and donations can be made at any Washington Mutual Bank branch.
