Oceanside CA,- On October 6, 2025 at approximately 8:40 a.m., OPD received a 911 call from an individual who reported being stopped and blocked in by unmarked ICE and U.S. Marshals vehicles on Mission Avenue near Oceanside High School. While on the line, our dispatcher could hear what appeared to be an argument in the background.

Shortly thereafter, additional calls were received reporting a traffic collision at the same location. An officer and a supervisor responded to the scene and confirmed that the incident was an immigration enforcement stop.

Shortly after our arrival, ICE and the U.S. Marshals discontinued their operation and left the area. The individual who had been stopped was not arrested. Our officer remained on scene and documented the associated traffic collision.
